Hello, I’m McCaela Marx, Licensed Massage Therapist and founder of Intentional Movements in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. With over 12 years of hands-on experience, I’ve dedicated my career to helping others find balance, relief, and peace through the power of therapeutic touch. Massage has always been more than a job to me—it’s my calling. I’m passionate about creating a space where people can truly relax, heal, and reconnect with themselves. My clients often tell me I have “magic hands” and that their session was “the best massage they’ve ever had.” Those words fuel my purpose and remind me why I love what I do every single day. After spending 12 years perfecting my craft in a spa setting, I felt called to create something more personal—a place where every movement, every breath, and every touch is intentional. I believe in aligning my work with my spirituality, my energy, and my clients’ individual needs. My goal is to not only ease physical tension but to help restore balance in mind, body, and spirit. At Intentional Movements, every session is customized with care, mindfulness, and purpose—because healing should always be intentional.

Cancellation Policy

I charge the deposit shown under each service (about 50%) for no-shows and prefer a 24 hour or more cancellation.
